All of the drinks are healthy and enjoyable alternatives to alcoholic drinks. All of them will count towards your 5-A-Day – a great way to get more fruit and vegetables into your diet. If you’re counting the calories or have one eye on your cholesterol level, some of these drinks will be better for you than others.

Banana Boogie 
You will need:
- a blender
- 1 Banana
- a handful of strawberries
- 60ml bio-yoghurt
- splash of milk
- 1 teaspoon of runny honey
a small handful of:
- rolled oats
- wheat flakes
- raisins
Here's how to make it:
Blend the destalked strawberries with the banana, yoghurt, milk and honey until smooth. Add the other ingredients and blend again - as smooth as you like it.
Orange Detox
You will need:
- a juicer, squeezer and blender
- 2 carrots
- a quarter of a pineapple
- 1 orange
- 1 kiwi
Here's how to make it:
Trim the carrots and juice them. Add the juice to the blender with the pineapple (peeled and diced) and squeeze the juice of the orange in. Blend well then add the flesh of the kiwi and blend again.
A Bit Ginger 
You will need:
- a juicer and a grater
- 3 big carrots
- 2 apples
- an inch of ginger root
Here's how to make it:
Trim the carrots and cut the apples into wedges and juice them together. Pour the juice in a jug and finely grate the peeled ginger into the mixture - stir and drink...
Burly Banana 
You will need:
- a juicer and a blender
- 1 apple
- 2 bananas
- 60ml bio-yoghurt
- 1 teaspoon of runny honey
- half a teaspoon fresh ground cinnamon
Here's how to make it:
Cut the apple into wedges and juice it - add the juice to the blender with the other ingredients and blend until smooth.
Beetroot Beauty
You will need:
- a juicer and a blender
- 1 beetroot
- 1 apple
- 1 pear
- dash of lemon juice
- an inch of ginger root
Here's how to make it:
Trim and chunk the beetroot and cut the apple and pear into wedges - juice these and put the juice in the blender. Add the lemon juice and grated ginger and blend until smooth - serve with ice.
Cheeky Monkey
You will need:
- a blender
- a banana
- 45ml bio-yoghurt
- a big spoon of crunchy peanut butter
